I see it from my terrace. We usually call then go get the food. When I say usually, I mean almost every week. What can I say? It's so convenient, and pretty good too. Although the quality can vary from day to day, I guess it's not always the same people who cook? Or sometimes they don't get the same ingredients? I think a big part of their business is catering events, but there are always people in the restaurant as well.
Their spinach is good. My flatmate loves their mushroom rice. Chicken Jalfry is nice and spicy. Chicken korma is sweet and mild. What they call "Taste of Balti" is very tasty too. Most of it is basically exactly how it should be (in my heathen opinion at least). Meat dishes are between £4 and £6. Veggie sides around £3 (go Sag Aloo!).
They open late, from what I've seen they don't have a definite closing time but it's usually around midnight on weekends. -

One of the numerous curry and/or biryani houses in East London, this one just happens to be conveniently located near me. The interior left me feeling a bit uncertain of the food quality, but the nice exterior compared to most other places got me in the door.
I ordered a danksak dish and was very pleased with the hot and sour flavours and for the price it can't be beat.
A shame in that it looks like someone broke part of their front glass recently, but don't let that discourage you from giving it a try! -

The closest I've come to an authentic Bangladeshi kacchi biryani in London. The other items in the menu were also pretty good. A lot of food for the price. A very Bangladeshi 'hotel' vibe which probably works well for Deshis but maybe not so much for outsiders? Definitely worth a try.

I came here two nights in a row, not only because I stayed in Whitechapel throughout my stay in London, but the fact that shops & restaurants in the east district closed a tad bit too early (try 7pm) for my taste. Oh God. I certainly am not an early sleeper, and I do like to eat at night, too! This place, in fact closes at 11pm. Thank goodness for these people and their yummy naan bread and curries. This kept me from starving two nights in a row.
Tried their Chicken Tikka Masala and their King Prawn Curry. The Tikka is certainly spicy but really buttery and creamy. The Curry they have there is not really what I expected, though it was really flavorful and spicy. Just how I like it. Their naan was fresh, and their mango lassi is tangy, creamy, and smooth.
This place is inexpensive and is a great late night snack if you're starving and will not settle for cereal & milk from the nearby Tesco! In addition, the workers are friendly and though your food takes a while to prepare, it is worth it. -

Really good little place. They do say that all the good curry places are actually in Whitechapel rather than Brick Lane and while I wouldn't say that Dhaka was one of the places that those people were talking about, it does the job very well.
We wanted to go to Lahore One but we had taken too long to get there so we were looking for some kind of fast food, pretty late on a Friday night and we found here. You can get 3 different curries and rice for £3.50 if your a vegetarian and £4.50 if you want to ruin the environment and eat meat. I jest. Plus he chucked in a naan.
It's great inside too: OTT South Asian design touches everywhere from the white horned chairs to the faux marble tables.
Just great.
